It’s not just a saying – breakfast really is the most important meal of the day! Eating breakfast boosts your metabolism and sets you up for a day full of healthy choices.

When you skip breakfast your stomach will be grumbling by 9am, and you’ll most likely grab the first thing in sight to fill you up, which might not be the healthiest option!

A healthy breakfast includes protein, fats, and carbohydrates to give you energy and keep you satiated. Although breakfast is such an important meal, it is often times one that is skipped because people think they don’t have enough time in the morning to make a healthy meal. However, that’s not the case!

Mmm, overnight oats! A simple, fast, and healthy way to make breakfast on the go.

Overnight oats are a great breakfast that you can prep the night before and grab on your way out of the door in the morning. Oats are not only a filling meal, but they have also been shown to provide health benefits such as lowering cholesterol and blood pressure.

The great thing about overnight oats is that you can add almost any topping you like. Below is the recipe for overnight oats with berries and banana, but feel free to get creative and try different ingredients as well!
